Frequently Asked Questions

Your Bridal & Beauty Questions, Answered

Booking a luxury makeup artist should feel effortless. Below are the most common questions we hear from brides, event clients, and beauty lovers across New Jersey. Don't see your question? Send us a message — we reply within 24 hours.

How far in advance should I book my bridal makeup?

We recommend booking your bridal makeup as soon as you have a confirmed wedding date — typically 6 to 12 months in advance for prime dates. Peak NJ wedding season weekends (May through October) and holiday weekends fill up first. We accept a limited number of bridal clients each month to ensure unhurried, one-on-one attention, so reserving early is the only way to guarantee your preferred date.

Do you travel to my wedding venue or hotel?

Yes — every service is available on-location across New Jersey. We travel directly to your home, hotel suite, getting-ready space, venue, or photoshoot set. Service areas include Jersey City, Hoboken, Alpine, Short Hills, Edgewater, Weehawken, Tenafly, Englewood Cliffs, and surrounding luxury NJ communities. Travel for destinations beyond our standard service area is available by quote.

How long does a makeup appointment take?

Most makeup services take 60 to 90 minutes per face. Bridal applications run closer to 90 minutes to allow for proper skin prep, lash application, and a flawless camera-ready finish. For wedding parties, we coordinate a custom timeline so every member of the bridal party is ready exactly when needed — no rushing, no waiting around.

Will my makeup last all day and night?

Yes. Every service uses premium, long-wear professional products specifically chosen to hold up through tears, dancing, hugs, photos, and dinner. Bridal Glow in particular is built to last from your first look through your final dance — and to photograph beautifully under any lighting your photographer throws at it.

Do you offer bridal trial sessions?

Yes. Bridal trial sessions are available and strongly recommended so you walk into your wedding day knowing exactly how you'll look. During the trial we discuss your dress, venue, lighting, photography style, and personal preferences, then design your complete bridal look together. Trial sessions are billed separately from the wedding-day service.

What products do you use?

We work exclusively with premium, professional-grade products selected for their performance under camera, longevity, and luxury finish. Skin prep and priming are tailored to your skin type and the day's conditions. We're happy to discuss specific brands during your consultation or trial.

Can I add hair styling to my makeup service?

Yes. Our most-booked package — the Signature Combo from $160 — includes makeup plus the hairstyle of your choice (soft waves, polished updo, sleek pony, red-carpet curls, etc.). Hair styling can also be added to any other service. For larger bridal parties, custom packages are available.

How do I reserve my date?

To reserve your date, contact us through the booking form, the contact page, WhatsApp, or by emailing blossommbydani@gmail.com directly. Bridal and event dates are confirmed upon receipt of a deposit. We reply to every inquiry within 24 hours.

What's your cancellation policy?

Specific cancellation and rescheduling terms are outlined in your booking agreement. We understand life happens — please reach out as early as possible if anything changes and we'll work with you on the best path forward. Bridal deposits secure your date and are typically non-refundable, but partial credit toward a future booking may be offered case-by-case.

Do you serve clients outside of bridal?

Absolutely. While bridal is a specialty, Blossom By Dani MUA serves professionals, content creators, photographers, models, sweet sixteens, quinceañeras, prom-goers, anniversary celebrations, and beauty lovers who simply want a polished look for an important day. Editorial, photoshoot, and event makeup are core services.

Do you offer 1:1 makeup lessons?

Yes. 1:1 lessons are personalized to your face shape, skin type, and lifestyle. You'll leave with product recommendations, a take-home cheat sheet, and the confidence to recreate your favorite look any morning. Bring your own kit so we can teach you on the products you actually use. Pricing is custom — contact us for details.

How do I pay?

We accept multiple payment methods including major credit cards. Bridal and event bookings typically require a deposit to reserve the date, with the balance due before or on the day of service. Specific arrangements are confirmed when you book.
